A veteran of Al Pascal music, from young budding student to ambassador and older role model to younger Al Pascallers, with his involvement in Al Pascal Music concerts for the past decade, and in the past couple of years a fresh addition to the teaching team, Matt Magee has many strings to his bow.
He is the front man to the post-punk outfit Fiende Fatale, who have been making ripples around the country over the past couple of years with their incisive, cleverly written songs and captivating live performances, receiving praise from Radio X’s John Kennedy on his show X-Posure for their single first single of 2020 ‘Bang!’.
During the day he works as a Learning Support Assistant at a school in New Barnet in the largest autism provision in Europe where he provides learning support (and some ad hoc guitar tuition) to students with ASD diagnoses.
In the evenings, when not playing with Fiende Fatale, he teaches guitar with Al Pascal Music, his main focus being primary school age and beginners, although his students’ ages have ranged from three to 45!
He received a degree in English Literature at the University of Kent in 2014 and obtained an MA in Creative Writing and Publishing at City, University of London in 2017, following which he spent a year and a half working for the academic publishing firm SAGE Publications Ltd.
